Modified Days at Edison

No Dogs on Campus

For the safety of all the students,

and staff, please do not bring your dog

on campus at any time -

before, during, or after,

unless they are a service dog.

No Smoking in, or Near School

It is against the law in California to smoke within 20 feet of a public building

and in a moving vehicle with a minor (18 years or younger) in the car.

These additional smoking laws were added after the original one became effective January 1, 1995.

Attendance is important!

Please remember!  Attendance is important!

If your child will be absent, please call the school to report their attendance.

To help you do this, we now have an attendance line!

When you call the school at 510-748-4002, follow the instructions to leave a message.

Please leave your name, relationship to the student, the students name, room number, teacher, the

date of absence or tardy, and the reason for the absence.

I will collect these daily.

Students who arrive on time, and are ready to go in the morning, get the most out of their school experience.

Students who arrive late must go to the office to obtain a late pass, before they are allowed in the classroom.  This applies to all students, from Kindergarten on up.

Please ensure your child is ready to go for school by preparing their lunch the night before if they are bringing, deciding on what to wear the night before, and that all backpacks, schoolwork, and everything needed for the day is ready to go and by your front door.

By preparing for the next day, it can make your morning run that much smoother, and help your child arrive to school on time.

Annual Back-to-School Registration for 2017-2018

AUSD uses Back-to-School Registration every year to confirm that a student will be attending a district school in the upcoming school year. The registration also gives parent/guardians a chance to update emergency contacts, acknowledge annual authorizations, and review the district’s policies. We ask that parent/guardians complete the registration via our InfoSnap online system as soon as possible.

To get started, you will need your student’s unique 2017-18 SnapCode. We will send these out by email starting July 26. (If we don’t have a valid email, we will send the SnapCode to you via postal mail.) If you do not receive this information by August 7, please contact your student’s school site directly for assistance. The easiest way to access registration is to click the snapcode link in the email. If you receive a letter or need to log back into InfoSnap click here:
